$3.90 can sometimes feel like a lot to part with for a packet of seed: it's true. Please consider that it's a lot of work to carefully grow, select, harvest, process, store, pack, and post seeds.  They should probably cost way more - and at the same time, they are a taoka tuku iho (treasure handed down) and they should be free.

To strike this balance we offer seeds free of charge to families or community groups for whom the cost of purchasing seeds is prohibitive. If that's you, get in touch.

Conversely if you have access to cash, please consider donating to this project to help subsidize free seeds, support website hosting, pay growers for their important work, and build up funds for improved community seed processing and storage facilities.

All revenue generated from donations and from selling seeds goes back into the Exchange. We are a not-for-profit organisation.
