TASTE NATURE Organic Store Located at 131 High Street, Dunedin, Taste Nature Organic Store is a retailer of many organically grown and produced products from New Zealand and around the world. It's a great place to buy local fresh produce, organic and heirloom veggie seeds / seedlings, get info from the notice board, and stock up on whatever other miscellanious supplies you may need. OTAGO FARMERS MARKET Held each Saturday from 8:00am till 12:30pm at the Dunedin Railway Station carpark. The Otago Farmers Market is a charitable trust that exists to provide a venue for many Otago based businesses who grow or produce their own products. By buying your bulk produce and special treats at the farmers market, you're helping keep money in the local economy rather than it going into the pockets of already-wealthy shareholders as is the case when you shop at a supermarket. WAIRUNA ORGANICS Located in Clinton, South Otago, New Zealand Wairuna Organics is a 3.6 ha certified organic farm where a wide variety of organic vegetables and herbs are grown for the locals, the Dunedin Farmers Market, and organic food shops such as Taste Nature in Dunedin. The farm was established by Shaun McVicker and Pia Dickhaut in 1999 and is fully certified with Organic Farm NZ since 2002.
