I gots no land

Hi,

I am a complete and utter newbie to the world of gardning, I am an ARDENT watcher of River Cottage (could be blasphemous in a place like this but to me its pure love). Its a lifestyle I have wanted to live since I first saw Hugh, heard what he had to say about how we should eat, grow and nurture our food as close to our kitchen table as possible.

I currently dont have any land to work on, and love the idea of learning through a land share option. If anyone knows of someone keen to lend a patch of land to someone who wants to grow as much Veg and fruits as possible I would be extremely grateful. If it came with a bunch of advice and maybe some guidance of how on earth I am meant to do this when I have been known to run screaming from spiders, I would be eternally grateful.

Please help me fulfil my dreams of peas, potatoes, tomatoes, lettuces, cabbages and kings :)

NEV Community Gardens

Hi there,

I had replied to this post a while ago but I just accidentally deleted it while I was cleaning up a whole bunch of spam bot rubbish! Anyway, I suggested that a great place to start could be the new North East Valley community gardens which are located on the top field behind NEV primary school. It is coming along really nicely and not only is there heaps of space but also plenty of awesome friendly folks to help show you the ropes of growing delicious organic produce!
