Free range eggs to trade

 Hi Everyone,

I don't know if this is the right place to ask,  but I have a surplus of free- range eggs at the moment - probably about 1 to 2 dozen a week. Was wondering if your website/networking forum would be a suitable place to see if anyone wanted to trade eggs for produce or other surplus consumables - I'm open to suggestions! I would also be happy to sell them at $6.00 a dozen. They have a large area to roam free in, are lovely and fresh with bright orange natural yolks.

Trade

Hi Carol,

Thanks for posting your trade on the forum. I'm sure that some of our members will be interested in the prospect of bartering some veggies or other goods for some of your eggs.

It may be helpful to list what suburb you are in to help people know if it's feasible for them to meet up. You could also post a phone number or email address for people to contact you on to arrange trades. Otherwise just be sure to check back on this thread in case of replies.

Eggs for trade

Thanks for that Bart, My email is actrx@xnet.co.nz and pickup for eggs could be in Port Chalmers or I can have them in South Dunedin (shopping centre area) on the days that I work.

 Thanks Nick, glad you are enjoying the eggs. I think once you try fresh free range its hard to go back to supermarket ones. The veges were great thanks. I was tempted to save the golden yams and grow them, but they ended up roasted - yum!

Let me know if you want some more  8)

My hens are still busy so if anyone else wants them - I'm open to imaginative trades -  food producing plants/trees, fruit, nuts, baking, meat  etc

 Hi Tina Sorry I haven't been online for awhile but I still have plenty of eggs. I've been selling them for $5.00 a dozen, but still open to barter suggestions. Vegetable seedlings would be welcome.
